MinPop 2024 Grand Finals lit up the SM Lanang North Wing Grounds with an electrifying celebration of Mindanaoan music. The evening marked the grand culmination of the three-day MinPop 2024 Festival, and it was nothing short of spectacular. With live performances from the Top 10 Grand Finalists, backed by the incredible Muzic’s Kool Band, and special guest appearances by The Dukes and Arthur Nery, the night was filled with unforgettable moments.

🏆 MinPop 2024 Grand Champion: “BLUE” by Praisy

🥈 MinPop 2024 1st Runner-Up: “BILYETE” by Ian Sison feat. FJ Salcedo

🥉 MinPop 2024 2nd Runner-Up: “GAKOS” by The Morph

🎵 MinPop 2024 Best Arranger: Generay Corbeta and Sharif Rafael Don

The Grand Finals Event
The evening kicked off with high energy as the MinPop 2024 Top 10 Grand Finalists took the stage, each delivering performances that showcased the incredible breadth of talent Mindanao has to offer. The judges—Jungee Marcel, Marlon Barnuevo, and Arthur Nery, all accomplished songwriters in their own right—had the challenging task of selecting the winners from a pool of exceptional entries.
As the night unfolded, the audience was enthralled by a series of riveting performances. The Dukes, our guest band for the evening, delivered a solid set of OPM classics, showcasing their signature sound that kept the crowd engaged. However, it was Arthur Nery who truly stole the show. With his Daniel Caesar-like captivating voice, Arthur delivered a soulful performance that brought the house down. The venue shook with the cheers and shouts of adoring fans, as Arthur’s powerful and emotional originals resonated deeply, leaving an indelible mark on the MinPop 2024 Grand Finals.
The event, which ran from 6:00 to 10:00 PM, was a fitting grand finale to the MinPop 2024 Festival, celebrating not just the winners, but all the artists who participated and contributed to making this year’s festival a resounding success.
